Feeding my cat
I wonder about his orange fur
And how it would look as boots
As a friend once said
The shotgun hangs on the wall
It’s dull brown
Its’ trigger hasn’t been pulled for the longest time
A family heirloom
I look down at my orange cat
Pushing the thought of him looking nice
as a pair of boots from my mind
